Arcturus, our home and transportation as we travel around North America was feeling somewhat neglected after carrying us safely to Alaska and back. The parking brake was getting a little wimpy so we made him an appointment at Pacific Power Products in Ridgefield Washington. They also replaced some universal joint bearings and tightened a few loose bits and pieces while they were looking under Arcturus’s tummy. I guess that makes it a tummy tuck.

Rising Water:.
On Thursday we picked up and began the move to the camp-out of our Plymouth Presbyterian Church. The first hint of something unusual was a streak of water across the floor. We wiped this up and looked in all of the cupboards for leaking stores. Finding nothing amiss, we shrugged and headed for Scappoose. At lunchtime Judy rinsed some lettuce and again we spotted water puddling on the floor. Only this time there was some lettuce leaves included. Oh-oh! Continue reading Rising Water:.
Face Lift and Tummy Tuck:
September of 2004, almost two years and 29,000 miles ago, we first moved into Arcturus, our Alpine Motor Home. We have had many adventures in that time. In 2004 we were chased south by the snow and the rain and experienced the 100 year bloom in the Mohave Desert.
