On Thursday we picked up and began the move to the camp-out of our Plymouth Presbyterian Church. The first hint of something unusual was a streak of water across the floor. We wiped this up and looked in all of the cupboards for leaking stores. Finding nothing amiss, we shrugged and headed for Scappoose. At lunchtime Judy rinsed some lettuce and again we spotted water puddling on the floor. Only this time there was some lettuce leaves included. Oh-oh! Continue reading Rising Water:.

Face Lift and Tummy Tuck:
September of 2004, almost two years and 29,000 miles ago, we first moved into Arcturus, our Alpine Motor Home. We have had many adventures in that time. In 2004 we were chased south by the snow and the rain and experienced the 100 year bloom in the Mohave Desert. In 2005 we crossed Canada and then circled through the southlands in the wake of Katrina and Rita. Along the way we have collected several dings. Continue reading Face Lift and Tummy Tuck:
The Sailboat Race:

Power to the Humans:
My Humans, Gary and Judy, took me to the Human Power Challenge, 2006 this week. Imagine my surprise when they opened the doors of my trailer and there were recumbent bicycles just everywhere. Other humans came by and snapped my picture and I held very still and made sure my paint gleamed its finest. Continue reading Power to the Humans:
Coming Home:
This is something different. We are home, but we don’t have a house to come back to. We are always home, because home is Arcturus, and Arcturus is an Alpine motor home. By a different thought, however, home is where all of your best friends are. This is where we are this week. We have been visiting with the friends of our church, the friends that we worked with and friends that have been neighbors over the years. Continue reading Coming Home:
