It is nice to visit the fancy resort campgrounds, and chum around with all of the super friendly Escapee MembersÂ….but! There is one thing that Judy and I agree on, it is just so neat to get out in the wilds in a small state, county or federal campground. Railroad Museum:
I only wish that I could teleport my son, Glen and my Son-in-law Neil here to be with me this evening. We are boondocking in the parking lot of the Railroad Museum here in Hillsborough New Brunswick. Thirty feet from the nose of Arcturus is parked a Canadian Voodoo Fighter Jet. All along the tracks to the left side of the coach are railroad equipment, beautifully preserved, and I think some of it is used for excursions. Continue reading Railroad Museum:
Urban Canada:
Well we have visited Ottawa Ontario and today we drove through a bit of Montreal Canada. Al Sinner drove us into the National Air Museum in Ottawa and it was a very fine museum indeed. Al drove as cool as a cucumber while Audrey, Gary and Judy gave conflicting directions and offered irrelevant commentary on everything that caught our attention. Continue reading Urban Canada:
If we wanted to enjoy all this rain we’d a stayed in Scappoose!
I was under the impression that this area of Arizona was a desert. There are Prickly Pear cacti, Saguaro cacti, and Stag horn cacti. There is Grease wood and Mesquite shrubs. We now have slime in our bicycle tires to try to counteract the effect of the Goat head thorns. Yet I swear that they have already enjoyed their whole annual rainfall.
