This story starts with a cruise around Medicine Hat, Alberta. We pulled into town in the rain. We stopped at the Tourist Centre and picked up lots of stuff for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Looking for Old Fossils:
My grandson, Bryce, age 5, would love it here. We are in Dinosaur Provincial Park on the Red Deer River in Alberta Canada. There are lots of really old fossils here, and now I don’t have to feel so old. We tromped around the hills of these “bad lands” but we didn’t discover any new dinosaur bones. When It’s Springtime In the Rockies:
It is raining every day Well we did manage to sneak in a 10 km walk between rain showers today in Lake Louise.
Today we experienced one of life’s ironies. As we exited Trans Canada highway number 1 in Lake Louise we anticipated driving to the lake itself. We came to a four way intersection and found a billboard sized sign the warned that big rigs wouldn’t like the extreme alpine road conditions ahead.
