There has been a lot to write about this past week. We are still hanging out around Gilroy California. We have been helping Glen and Barb cope with some corrective surgery that Barb needed to get out of the way. A Mater of Timing:
Well California is still being lashed by a new storm about every three to four days. We get a couple nice days then wham! Today was the day. We decided to make this a travel day and drove the fifty miles over to Monterey California. The rains caught up with us about the time we hit highway one. We rolled into the Elks parking lot campground just before noon and by the time we had paid our fees it was pouring. Continue reading A Mater of Timing:

Hide and Seek:
I have been pretty quiet in March. It is mostly because we are staying put this month. We have found an ideal hidey spot near our Son’s family in Gilroy California. We are perched on top of a knoll just at the west city limits. The knoll is surrounded by the municipal golf course, and the summit is the Gilroy Elks Lodge. We are allowed to stay seven days then we have to do something for three days before we can come back. Continue reading Hide and Seek:
