You hear that phrase around our household whenever I have done something particularly exciting, or something particularly stupid. Monday it was the latter. No details will be included, just to say we spent a large portion of Monday in the Emergency ward of St. Vincent’s in Beaverton. The good news is; I will heal completely. The other news is; it will be several weeks before I will be playing the guitar again. Meanwhile my left hand will “stick out like a sore thumb.”
I had been progressing nicely on the shop furniture. I was really expecting to get the second bench structure done on this weekend, (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.) Instead we went back to Home Depot and picked up the wiring materials and Judy and I will string conduit and pull wire for shore power on the Sprinter Van. It is something we together can do three handed. I did the same thing with the trailer and it was really handy.
We have one more week here then we will move the whole Kit-n-Caboodle to Hillsboro at the Elks lodge. I expect to have the Red trailer completely emptied and hope to put it on the market and be rid of it before heading south. Renee and Neil have agreed, (in principle,) to host me and my trailer one Saturday in November for a “Garage Sale” in their driveway. The trailer and all left over fixtures, lumber, tools and parts will all be fair game. If someone wants the trailer bad enough to bid on the contents too, so much the better. In fact it just occurred to me that I should hold off early sale openers by keeping the doors locked. They can make offers on the trailer and all up until that time like the TV show about bidding on abandoned storage units. Perhaps I can sell an episode to them. Now where can I get a videographer ?
Bye, Gary and Judy
